Recipe Three  –  Ace Bakery

Bacon Cheddar Bread Bowl Dip, served in a freshly hollowed ACE Bakery® Rustic Italian Oval.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ACE Bakery® Rustic Italian Oval
  • 2 cups Weins Food Cheddar Style– Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Pepperjack Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Sour Cream
  • 8 oz Quality Cheese– Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 8-10 slices of Bacon
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Additional bacon and cheddar cheese, for garnish
  • Krinos – Olive oil + garlic salt, to brush

 

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F 

Using the ACE Bakery® Rustic Italian Oval, cut an oval shape out of the bread, creating a hollow bowl. Reserve the bread pieces for dipping.

In a food processor, combine Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Pepperjack Cheese, Sour Cream, Cream Cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Pulse until well combined.

Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces. Stir the bacon into the cheese mixture.

Brush the outside inside of the bread bowl with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt. Wrap the bottom in foil.

Fill the bread bowl with the cheese and bacon mixture.

Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the bread is toasted.

Garnish the dip with chopped green onions, additional bacon, and cheddar cheese.

Serve the Bacon Cheddar Bread Bowl Dip with the reserved bread for dipping.
